The Simple Woman's Daybook 10-04

FOR TODAY 2009-10-05 (OK, it was 2 days ago, I'm a little late)

Outside my window... it's wet, but warm and that is a good thing.

I am thinking...that the week is going by too fast and how did I miss Monday?

I am thankful...that Cori's teeth pulling (all 4 of them) went well.

From the learning rooms...we are focusing on the alphabet and phonics.

From the kitchen... we are avoiding food, it makes Cori sad. We are eating very simply for the next day or two.

I am wearing...my pajamas; I need to get in the shower and leave this house.

I am creating...lots of fun projects with Cali. Halloween is such a fun time of the year.

I am going...to take some ibuprofen to the school in case Cori decides she wants it.

I am reading...no time for that!

I am hoping...that Cori's tooth adventure continues on the path of little anxiety and smooth process.

I am hearing...voices inside my saying "Get your behind in the shower!"

Around the house...it's a bloody wreck and we really need to gear up for another weekend of soccer.

One of my favorite things...Cali's new green shoes. They remind me of Halloween and I love them. (See picture here)

A few plans for the rest of the week...packing for soccer, and getting ready to help my friend with her huge fundraiser Friday night. Yikes!
