Our trip home from Fairbanks was no exception. At one point,I had to come to a dead stop behind a small motor home that had decided to stop right on a curve. I am a very cautious passer so I had a little trouble getting around him. At one point Scott was telling me to go however I could see an oncoming vehicle in the distance so I wouldn't go. Scott started counting, 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi in order to show me how much time there had been to pass, I in turn was cursing out the motor home because
THERE
WAS
NO
FREAKIN'
REASON
TO
BE
STOPPED
ON
A
FLIPPIN'
CURVE...
except,
maybe
THIS!
I can't believe we almost didn't see him. I am guessing his belly was full of fish from the nearby Kenai River and this sunny spot directly on the side of the very close, rather-narrow 2 lane road was the perfect place to take a nap!
I didn't get a wide angle shot to include the road, I wasn't thinking, but here is an accidental shot of a car passing between us.
Scott kept reminding me where my window buttons were in the event he got up and decided to take a walk(to my side of the road).
It really is a wild-life!
